It's Houston Family.... we live in Baytown :(... We LOVE Tomball. we actually come there often on Saturday nights for a car show in the Kroger parking lot... We are adopting a little girl! When are you traveling?? WE would love to meet you guys! CANT BELEIVE how quickly you received your LOA after you were DTC!! LOVE your blog, I've been a follower for a while now!! I don't think many people read my blog other than family and close friends. like I said we would love to meet sometime.

Timeline To Miao

10/01/09: We notice a beautiful girl with a heartfelt profile
10/02/09: Contact posting agency
10/19/09: Contact our Social Worker to share with her our desire to adopt again & if she will consider being our Social Worker, once again. She gives us an enthusiastic, YES! (currently waiting TA for 1st adoption, our precious son, Sterling!)
10/30/09: IP Appointment (International Pediatrician)
11/2/09: Prepare LOI (Letter of Interest for China) & agency contacted to say she is perfect fit for our family!
11/3/09: Agency "locks" file & RK.com removes her profile
11/9/09: Agency sends LOI to China
11/23/09: Forever Family Day for Sterling
11/26/09: PA Received from China! (Pre-Approval to adopt)
5/15/10: Receive Home Study (4 originals) Earl in China on business for 1 month, unable to begin the I800A
6/8/10: I800A to Fed Ex office for shipment. Missed the Fed Ex truck and must wait until the following evening for pick-up
6/10/10: I800A Received by USCIS
6/17/10: I800A Receipt Notice
6/23/10: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET GIRL!!
6/29/10: I800A Fingerprinting Appt. Notice
7/2/10: Walk-in For Fingerprinting; phoned caseworker to notify her of early prints. (20 days early!)
7/6/10: I797C Issued
7/10/10: I797C Received
7/22/10: DTC! (Dossier To China)
7/27/10: LID
8/25/10: LOA received by agency
8/26/10: LOA Arrives at home
8/29/10: I800 Mailed via Fed Ex
8/31/10:I800 Delivered to lock-box
9/2/10: USCIS Receipt Date
9/16/10:I800 Approval
9/22/10: NVC Wire
10/13/10 Article 5
10/15/10 New Ruling Information
10/17/10 Fed Ex original signed LOA
10/25/10: Article 5 delivered to CCAA
11/15/10: TA
12/8/10: CA
